I'm pretty sure my first post was actually in the introductions thread! OMG no wai!

I became a Guru member 1 day after I bought and started playing Prophecies, ya know, when it was still called just "Guild Wars"

I searched around for the biggest and best forum community, but got tired of searching and settled for Guru

Seriously, though, GWG is an oasis among all other fansites out there. You guys are the best!

I was planning on buying a new game (since the server of the free mod I had been playing was shut down for financial reasons). I wanted research on GW, which sounded appealing since it had no monthly fee.
I registered on these forums to get info almost 2 months before I actually started playing the game.

I'm fairly certain I originally joined to receive a price check on two items which I subsequently merched. First few posts and threads were in the trade forums, then I migrated to the community areas when I started using the Auction system.

Joined to have fun with OT forums :P,had a good community, and I enjoyed GW enough when playing with my friend who got me into it that I joined a few forums like this great one

. Somehow, I actually spend more time on the forums and the wiki more than I do playing atm...(odd isn't it? nah, waiting for GW:EN)
